Ipswich Round-Up, Monday 26th October: Fuller Reflects on Forest Draw as Butcher Pays Tribute to Sir Bobby

There's plenty to reflect on after Friday night's 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest, with the East Anglian Daily Times' Karl Fuller giving his take on the game. He felt the point was a good one for the Blues and that there shouldn't be too many complaints about not taking all three, with the underlying numbers suggesting Forest might even feel they were the ones who dropped two points (East Anglian Daily Times).

That result leaves Ipswich sitting 12th after eight Premier League games, and boss Gary O'Neil has been full of praise for his squad's mentality and culture, saying it's the best he's worked with, as the Star reports (Ipswich Star).

There's a lovely piece of Town history doing the rounds too, with Terry Butcher speaking to BBC Sport about his relationship with the late Sir Bobby Robson, who managed him for 14 years. Butcher described the bond as being like that of a father figure, a touching reminder of the legacy Sir Bobby left at Portman Road (BBC Sport). In a similar vein, ITFC.co.uk have put out a piece looking back at Ipswich, PSV and Sir Bobby, tying together more of that golden era of the club's history (ITFC.co.uk).

Away from the pitch, fans have the chance to get their hands on a unique piece of matchday memorabilia, with Dara O'Shea's torn, signed match-worn shirt from his battle with Liam Delap up for grabs, with proceeds going to the Town Foundation (East Anglian Daily Times).

Finally, a familiar face has found a new club, as former Ipswich loanee Brandon Williams has signed a three-month deal at League Two side Rotherham United following a trial (Ipswich Star).
